Child's Cup Full is a non-profit 501(c)3 social enterprise retail operation seeking to support refugee communities in the Middle East through women's economic empowerment and grassroots children's education. CCF trains and employs refugee women to create eco-friendly, handcrafted products including the 'Toys for Hope' educational children's toys product line, and coming later this year, leather handbags and other leather-made goods. Income provided by CCF directly benefits numerous refugee women, children, and men, as approximately eight to nine individuals are dependent on each woman artisan for financial support. CCF currently operates in Zababdeh, Palestine and plans to expand its initiative in the West Bank and eventually throughout the Middle East. All handcrafted products are sold on the organization's website and through retailers across Europe, the Middle East and North America.\\Thus far, CCF has been granted funding from esteemed organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme-Deprived Families for Economic Empowerment Programme (UNDP-DEEP), and the United Nations Job Creation Program (UNJCP). CCF is currently in negotiation with World Vision to create a new economic unit in order to employ more refugee women in Palestine.\\The toys created within the Toys For Hope project are produced by the hands of the hard-working mothers and sisters of the Jenin Refugee Camp. They are all environmentally friendly, ethically produced toys in Arabic, English and Spanish for young children between two to six. The toys provide a great teaching method for parents, caregivers, and teachers to facilitate the learning process as well as give the women of the Jenin Refugee Camp economic opportunities and the chance to be involved in the teaching process of children in the camp. Each toy is made of surplus and recycled material collected from different types of factories in the West Bank. These products are hand-washable and safe for children of all ages.
