The China Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Facility (CAHHF) is funded from the Government of Australia's development cooperation program with China. It is based on the China Australia Country Program Strategy (2006-2010) and reflects the strategic aim to closely align with the current priorities of Chinese Government, acknowledge the mutual national interests of China and Australia, and work in a manner that is flexible and responsive. The purpose of the Facility is to improve China's capacity to strengthen its health systems, protect its population against emerging infectious diseases, and prevent and care for HIV infection.
