China Debate Project Details
China Debate Project is a not-for-profit initiative spearheaded by a group of Chinese debaters.what have we been doing?As debaters and trainers, we've organized dozens of debate workshops and tournaments all over China, and trained hundreds of high school and university debaters. Our past events are held in Peking University, Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Jinan University, Chengdu Foreign Language School, etc. We have successfully built a strong network in most universities located in Beijing and helped establish debate society in these universities.Now, we are seeking to spread the debate network to the vast land of China and connecting to the international debate community. Currently we are operating the "Discuss, Understand … Change!" project supported by the European Commission, with cooperation from Slovenia, Lithuania and Thailand.what will we achieve in the future?We believe debate is a necessity of life for every youth and future leader who long for knowledge and understanding. Our mission is to maintain the vigor of Chinese debate community, cultivate new generations of debaters and trainers, and more importantly, enhance cross-cultural dialogue between youth in China and other countries.
