The China Hockey Group (CHG) is a family-focused group of ice hockey leagues, training programmes and community initiatives that are geared at developing both the sport of ice hockey in Hong Kong and Southern China as well as the concept of student-athletes, where sporting goals are achieved alongside educational pursuits.The China Hockey Group consists of 4 pillars.· Absolute and unconditional commitment to the development and expansion of ice hockey in China· Promotion of ice hockey and sport as a necessary complement to the excellence in education - teaching teamwork, sportsmanship and character, and leading to the emergence of China "student athletes".· "More Kids, More Hockey, More Fun" - enabling every child the opportunity to play, through comprehensive programmes which include charitable initiatives for those underprivileged young players who need financial support to play.· Establishment of a sustainable and fully integrated ice hockey platform - providing training and elite leagues for all ages, rink facilities, quality equipment supply, technology and access to continuing pursuit of Ice Hockey in North America for promising young Chinese players.The CHG is comprised of the China Ice Hockey League (CIHL), the Junior Tigers youth hockey club and the South China Ice Hockey League (SCHIL), with the CHG also the exclusive distributors for Bauer Hockey equipment in Hong Kong.
