We started Chinita in 2011 to create authentic and flavourful Mexican food in India.Having lived in San Francisco and New York for many years, both places with a strong Mexican culinary tradition, it quickly became one of our favourite cuisines. Our chef went on to attend classes at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York to further her knowledge of Mexican cooking. When we moved back to India, Mexican was by far the single cuisine that all three of us missed the most, so we found ourselves cooking a lot of Mexican food at home. The food was so delicious and addictive that we really wanted to share our love and passion for Mexican food with Bangalore.
