The India Govt. started a scheme under Industrial policy to develop the small and cottage industries which had built up a \t\t\t\t\tself-employment with the help of human resources technically skilled person. Under this scheme some institutes were set up \t\t\t\t\tand kept the name of those Institutes were Industrial training institutes i.e. I.T.I. and in private sector those types of \t\t\t\t\tInstitutes were called I.T.C. (Industrial Training Centre). Industrial Training Institute Industrial Training Centers are \t\t\t\t\ttraining institute which provide in technical field and constituted under Directorate General of Employment Training (DGE T) \t\t\t\t\tin the Ministry of Lab our Employment under the Government of India. Industrial Training Centre (ITC's) is training Centre which \t\t\t\t\tprovides training in technical field in India. Normally a person who has passed 10 standards (SSLC) is eligible for admission to ITC. \t\t\t\t\tThe objective of opening of ITC is providing technical manpower to industries. People of engineering trade can go for higher studies \t\t\t\t\tlike diploma in engineering.
