Project Director, Country Health Information Systems and Data Use (CHISU)
USAID's Country Health Information System and Data Use (CHISU) program provides an opportunity to strengthen country capacity and leadership in managing and using health information systems (HIS) and data to improve evidence-based decisions.CHISU will serve as one of the USAID Bureau for Global Health, Office of Health Systems' flagship data and information system projects. The program will strengthen health information systems, interoperable information architecture and data use, and enhance capacity for local leadership and engagement to improve evidence-based decision-making.The program will support integration and harmonization of systems across health areas to improve data collection, analysis, and use at national and sub-national levels. It will inform demand and use of health information to address health priorities and enhance the capacity of local partners to support health ministries—all issues that have been shown to be weaknesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.JSI leads the project, with partners RTI International, Vital Strategies, macro-eyes, Jembi Health Systems, and Global Evaluation and Monitoring Network for Health.
