CZP is an independent publisher of weird, subtle, surreal, disturbing dark SF, fantasy, magic realism, and horror, as well as occasional industrial thrillers. Established in 2008, CZP has gone from publishing 2 titles in that year, to a full schedule of over 25 books per year by 2014, winning a British Fantasy Award for best small press, and garnering three World Fantasy Award nominations in a row.In 2013, CZP acquired Undertow Publications (Michael Kelly, Publisher), an indie press with a similar sensibility and publishing mandate, as an imprint. In 2014 CZP launched a young adult imprint, ChiTeen, with plans to launch a graphic novel imprint, ChiGraphic, in 2015.ChiZine Publications' trade paperbacks are distributed in Canada by Harper Collins Canada, and by Diamond Book Distributors internationally. Harper Collins also distributes CZP's ebooks globally. Foreign rights are represented by the Cooke Agency International, and film rights by The Alpern Group.
