Chocolates El Rey, founded in 1929 in Venezuela, was among the first to introduce the concept of single-origin chocolate to the world. El Rey's premium single origin chocolates are produced in Barquisimeto from cacao grown in the Barlovento region and the Rio Caribe region of Venezuela.
