CHONEX is developing a proprietary and patentable process that uses black solder fly larve (BSFL) to recycle chicken manure into high-value, organic fertilizer and animal protein (black solder fly larvae). In detail, our process involves applying a specialized blend of bacteria, ammonia inhibitors, other specialized micro-organisms, and black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) to poultry (layer) manure which then consumes and recycles the manure into a high-value organic fertilizer with special anti-fungal and microbial properties and an AAFCO approved protein feed for poultry and aquaculture. CHONEX is currently refining and scaling this process at its specially built, industrial grade processing facility. The goal will be to process up to 80 tons of poultry (layer) manure per day, which is equivalent to the daily production of a fully operational egg or poultry farm. With excellent support from corporate partners in the egg and poultry industry, leading investors in the Southeast, and leading research institutions, CHONEX plans to build additional facilities to recycle thousands of tons of manure each day.
