Highly experienced designer, builder of puppets, sets, props and creatures for TV, film and theatre. From adorable TV characters to realistic animals and creepy creatures; I strive to bring artistic excellence, character and attention to detail to every project I work on.With an added background and degree in performance and direction I can take a project from early sketch and concept right through to development, build, implementation and performance training.As a designer and a trained performer (Bretton Hall) I always consider the performative challenge to the puppeteers and artists working on a production and approach any project from the point of view of the performers aiming to create something that is both expressive and a joy to use.I have worked for a wealth of companies on some very exciting projects. These have included the BBC, TED Group, Anarchy, Millenium FX, Tiger Aspect, Working Title, Sky, Merlin Entertainment, Life Cast, Paul Holman Associates, Kenny Wax, OBJEKT, Talk to the Hand, The Daryl Worbey Studios, Illyria, and many others.Working as character maker and/or puppeteer my work has spanned creating the characters for the major Cbeebies Series Feeling Better, to the new Worzel Gummidge, Dr Who, Zapped, Yonderland and working international campaigns for Esso, Old Spice, NIKE, Future Play, Pepsi, KAYAK. My work can be seen in internationally in theme parks and resorts including The Maho group, Legoland, Sea life Centres.I enjoy doing many bespoke commissions and like most creatives, I try to do a lot of personal projects, just for fun.
