Christ The King Church is a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), a body of congregations committed to worship and serve the God of Scripture revealed in His creation, His providence, and His all sufficient and authoritative Word found in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Christ The King Church and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church recognize that they are but a small part of the One Church that God is building throughout the world and throughout history. Jesus Christ has given Himself on the cross for His bride the Church and has been raised from the dead and exalted to the right hand of His Father. He always lives to pray for her, and He is with her aways by His Holy Spirit through Whom He imparts His new life to her that His bride would be forgiven and cultivated to be presented a spotless bride at His appearing when He comes a second time to make all things new in heaven and earth.The Orthodox Presbyterian Church believes that the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed are accurate and faithful summaries of the Christian faith. And the OPC has adopted the Westminster Confession of Faith and Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms as useful summaries of the truths of the Bible. But the OPC is committed that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the only ultimate and infallible authority given by God as sufficient for His Church on earth until He returns for His bride and makes all things new in heaven and on earth.
