Christian Neighbors is a community ministry/agency serving individuals and families primarily in the communities of Plainwell, Otsego and Martin. The mission of Christian Neighbors is to provide local families in need with Food, Emergency Financial Assistance and skill building Education to create self-sufficiency.Christian Neighbors was founded in 1983 by local churches to respond to people in need in our community. Last year, $109,012 was paid to prevent homelessness or keep heat and electricity on in almost 300 households. Every month, over 500 individuals are provided with 5 days worth of food. These services can be provided only because of the generous support of the community.
