It is here where we want to serve you by providing ongoing information about Peace Keepers training workshops and articles about teaching students to love others as Christ loves us. When students' hearts are transformed into His likeness (Romans 12), unrighteous anger and peer conflict significantly decreases. Susan Dyer-Layer, LCSW, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her master's degree in social work (MSW) from the University of South Florida (USF). Since 2001, she had served as a Christian school counselor at St. Petersburg Christian School. She is a published researcher and workshop trainer, and has authored texts and articles about bully prevention and post-abortion grief. While serving as a Christian school counselor, Susan developed the Peace Keepers™ curriculum with the commitment to decrease bullying and increase kindness within the school family. With fourteen years of experience working with students and families, she wrote the Peace Keepers™ texts to provide school-wide strategies and classroom and peer-mentoring instruction to promote His peace in Christian schools. Peace Keepers was developed to: • Identify those in need and help all involved to love like Christ: victim, bully, and bystander• Teach compassion and appreciation for godly differences• Establish current baseline measure to assess and determine effective intervention• Train staff and teach students ROCK character• Provide workshop trainings, presentations, and refreshers for staff, students, and parentsThrough encouragement from staff and parents, Susan wrote the Peace Keepers™ curriculum and established Christian Peace Keepers, Inc. in 2011. The Peace Keepers™ statement of faith embraces our belief in the Holy trinity consisting of Jesus as the son of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Father God, that we are saved by His amazing grace, and that the Bible is the sacred inerrant Word of God.
