Universities) buy access to CHRONOS and secures distribution to all the researchers at a low cost which essentially means that researchers can focus on the research – not the process of publishing research.CHRONOS connects researchers to the journal's submission system, coordinates open access fee payments with the publisher upon acceptance, and deposits the researcher's papers into the repository.Covering every layer of the ecosystem CHRONOS provides an unprecedented insight into research results. Funders have direct access to all research organizations and can track how far money travels and where results are achieved. Research organizations are no longer required to report results as they are automatically transferred to the funders.Impact is the desired output of all research.
