The Church of the Advent, a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, is a community of faith that gathers day by day and week by week to know and make known the grace of God which comes through Jesus Christ. All that we are and all that we do are empowered by the grace of God that is given to us through the Sacraments instituted by Christ, particularly the Sacrament of the Altar. By means of this abundant grace we enjoy a diverse, vital and close-knit parish family—young, old, rich, poor, of various ethnic origins and differing backgrounds. From our renowned music program to a thriving church school, our guilds of bell-ringers, gardeners and acolytes, to those who serve our longstanding Tuesday night community dinner, we strive to keep the Gospel close to our hearts and to live by Jesus' teaching.
