It enjoys a protected status as one of France's historical gems, but today the Château is a thriving hub that welcomes international guests to the local area, delicately balancing innovation with heritage.Nestled into its own private forest, the 400-year old Château du Feÿ enjoys the best views of the Yonne Valley, including the Yonne river and the surrounding impossibly picturesque villages.The Château is on the outskirts of Villecien, an adorable hamlet home to just 450 people, but also not far from the nearest bustling town of 10,000 residents, Joigny. Here you'll find farmers markets packed with local, seasonal produce and artisan wines from the region and beyond.The Château has an intriguing past. Its interior is decorated with authentic, antique furnishings that paint an intricate collage of the different epoques that have shaped the colourful history here.
