C.I Agent is a non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-carcinogenic environmentally friendly petroleum-based blend of food grade polymers, used to immobilize petroleum and related petrochemical releases on land and water. C.I.Agent is a dry granular patented formula specifically blended to encapsulate ALL petroleum-based liquid spills through rapid transformation forming a cohesive rubber-like mass upon contact. Unlike absorbents that soak up a liquid through expansion, C.I.Agent solidifies the liquid through a process called micro-encapsulation, transforming only the hydrocarbon liquid to a solid removable mass with minimal volumetric increases. This eliminates the "dripping" effect that you get from absorbent materials by not allowing the liquid to escape or be squeezed out thus greatly minimizing any residue or contamination. C.I.Agent Solutions take this raw polymer formula and manufacture various base products and more importantly custom make products to meet specific customer solutions.
