CICERONE is a marketplace where hotels can upsell and cross-sell their own products to guests and local merchants can offer their activities in the city.CICERONE is offered free for hotels, and revenue from local merchants (tours, restaurants, shopping, tickets) is shared with the hotel.CICERONE integrates with Hotel Property Management Systems, Booking engines and Channel Managers. The proposals for hotel guests are sent few days prior to guest arrival and integrated with hotel Wifi so guests can access during their stay.A pilot in Madrid is currently ongoing since June 2014, with 25 hotels (as of november) and 4.000 rooms, obtaining 4% conversion rate. Plans are to consolidate model in Madrid and acquire necessary resources to develope the business in 10 major cities world-wide in terms of travel spending in 2015. In order to execute we need advisors, network and capital, which we hope to acquire in an appropriate accelerator with interest and know-how in the travel space.
