Real Women Brand on a mission to empower our community.By Women For Women.CIHUAH comes from the Nahuatl word for "women", recognizing and acknowledging the indigenous women who create traditional craft designs, their ancient knowledge, and culture. CIHUAH garments reflect the pattern of Indigenous clothing, respecting their basic geometry while creating a contemporary look. All pieces are a sophisticated vision in white and black, designed with obsessive attention to the straight line and perfection; an exercise of confrontation between the line and the human figure. Architectural theory and techniques are applied, on a small scale, to each garment, using: geometry, proportion, aesthetics, construction-deconstruction, symmetry-asymmetry, balance-imbalance.AWARDS AND RECOGNITION- 2013: Published in the Directory of Mexican Design presented in the MOMA of New York.- October 2013: Vanessa Guckel receives the Quorum Award in the Fashion Design Category.- Semifinalist in the contest Vogue Who's On Next Mexico 2013, 2014 and 2016.- July 2015: PopUp Store in Paris.- December 2015: Vanessa receives a recognition from Lancôme for the creation and success of her brand in the fashion industry in Mexico.- February 2016: the brand presents an exclusive piece during MACO.- April 2016: Vanessa Guckel was considered among the 100 Women Leaders of Mexico by The Universal newspaper.- Cihuah presents its collections in Mercedez Benz Fashion Week Mexico.- Cihuah invites its best clients to the Maison Lancôme Mexico.- Cihuah celebrates the Day of France in the presidential suite of the Sheraton Maria Isabel.- April 2017: CIHUAH presents FW17 in MBFWMX with a Michael Nyman performance.- Best Fashion Runway 2017 in the Mexico´s Fashion Digital Awards.- Cihuah is published in several fashion magazines such as Vogue Mexico, Elle Mexico, Harper's Bazaar Español, L'Officiel Mexico, Luxury Guide Magazine, etc.
