C.I.I.M, the Confederation of Italian Entrepreneurs Worldwide, was founded in 2004 in Rome with the aim of representing and connecting 65 million Italians living all over the world and above all those who held relevant business positions. It is an important lobbying platform and a unique type of representative organization which was not yet existing for the Italian entrepreneurship abroad. It mainly aims to serve as a meeting point where Italian entrepreneurs living and working abroad can have the chance to easily exchange experiences, contacts and ideas.C.I.I.M also promotes business partnerships and keeps its members up-to-date on current economical, political and cultural developments; it organizes events called "DIALOGUES" and connects all members through its global database.C.I.I.M has offices in Albania, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Germany, Greece, Russia, South East China, Shenyang, South America, Turkey (C.I.I.M. EurAsiaMed) and USA.C.I.I.M EurAsiaMed is located in Istanbul and retains its jurisdiction in Turkey, Central-Asian and Middle Eastern countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cyprus, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen and United Arab Emirates.
