Cill Ulta ( Lárionad Acmhainní Nádúrtha (LAN Ctr) is a progressive Gaeltacht-based social enterprise (charitable status) working to promote Northwest Donegal as a region known for sustainability, biodiversity, and low-carbon food production. We promote local Irish solutions to the challenges of Climate Change; Ecological Degradation; Agricultural Import Dependency; and the Cultural, Linguistic, and Population decline of the Gaeltacht. We work to build resilience in our community through innovations in: sustainable energy solutions and ecological awareness, regenerative agriculture and Irish food sovereignty, farm enterprise diversification and the development of a robust circular economy. We are a leader in sustainable horticulture, rural economy, training and outreach in ecological awareness, regenerative agriculture, sustainable energies, and a circular economy.
