Founded in 1991 as a spin-off from Digital Corporation, we originally traded as CIMDEC Ltd. until 1995 when Motherwell Bridge Holdings acquired the company and renamed it Motherwell Information Systems Ltd. (MIS). In January 2000, Europe's leading venture capital company, 3i, backed an £84 million institutional buyout of MIS from its parent company, Motherwell Bridge Holdings. Following the buyout, MIS changed its name to Mi Services Ltd. Formerly trading as part of Mi Services Ltd., Xelocity Ltd. was incorporated in January 2005. Pronounced zĕ-lŏ-sĭ-te, our new brand is an important statement of our values and goals, namely: To deliver powerful business results to our clients through a combination of excellence and velocity.
