Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy, or CIMT Therapy helps "rewire" the brain in adults after stroke, brain injury or when addressing the physical changes of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Often these individuals have persistent impaired use of one side of the body. CIMT therapy develops neural pathways in the brain while intensively training motor patterns allowing individuals to improve their motor activities. The clinic is a 2-3 week program of intensive one on one therapy with an Occupational and/or Physical Therapist who is a CIMT trained therapist. Visit our site today to see the research that goes into the clinics and client testimonials.
