The Cincinnati 2030 District is a membership organization facilitated by the Green Umbrella consisting of property owners and managers, developers, tenants, industry professionals, and community stakeholders. The District's mission is to create a network of healthy, high-performing buildings in Cincinnati. Participating members make a collective commitment to reduce their buildings' energy use, water consumption and transportation emissions 50% by the year 2030. By partnering directly with property owners and managers, developers, and tenants, the Cincinnati 2030 District accelerates the development of healthy, high-performing buildings by breaking down market barriers, encouraging collaboration and shared resources, and deploying innovative sustainability solutions. The work of the Cincinnati 2030 District continues our community's leadership in addressing the threat of climate change while creating a more livable, desirable city that is better able to attract and retain a high caliber workforce, entrepreneurial talent, and new economic development opportunities.
