The online Master of Education and Graduate Certificate in Medical Education programs are offered through a partnership between the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Both the MEd and the Certificate programs are designed to address the unique needs of academic physicians and health care professionals who want to gain knowledge in contemporary educational theory and instructional techniques that will have an impact on daily teaching activities. The MEd program is additionally designed to improve knowledge and skills in medical education research and leadership.We provide a relevant curriculum in a flexible online environment with excellent, personal support. The master's program consists of 10 courses (30 credit hours) focused on adult learning, curriculum and instruction, and educational research and evaluation. The certificate program consists of four courses (12 credit hours) focused on adult learning and curriculum and instruction.
