CINENOVA Film Festival Details
Founded in 2019, CINENOVA is the first Interuniversity Film Festival in Portugal, to which university students from all over the world can submit their short films. Its mission is to reinvent the relationship between Cinema and Knowledge, between the Student-Filmmaker and the University.In 2020, the year of its 2nd edition, CINENOVA received more than 800 short films from a total of 77 countries. More than 600 people attended the festival.Headquartered in Lisbon, at NOVA-FCSH, CINENOVA is an initiative of the Communication Department. It is internally supported by the Dean's Office and the Student Association and organized entirely by students and university professors.
