CINI Uganda works towards creating child women friendly communities through empowering women to take active roles in our programs, in the belief that the best way to help a child is to help its mother.We concentrate on the four core thematic areas embedded in our mission; Health: With Uganda's health millennium development goals 4&5 still alarming at Maternal Mortality Rate =435 maternal deaths/100000live births and Infant Mortality Rate=180 deaths /1000live births, and with the HIV prevalence on the increase from 6.5% to 7.3%, CINI Uganda is working with the communities to understand these trends and contribute towards saving lives and achieving our national goals by employing public health techniques.Health and nutrition promotion for mothers, adolescents and children
