Circle of Friends Southern Gospel Quartet is a group of friends who share the love of God and music. Together we spread the Gospel of Christ through music…southern style! Circle of Friends formed in the fall of 2002. Members Lisa Pierce and Debbie Ashburn's unique arrangements give the mixed quartet a "special blend" which captures the hearts of audiences. Their southern gospel harmonies have been heard at many churches, community functions, private events and outdoor concerts and festivals around Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and New York. The group has a very energetic style of singing, as anyone who has seen them in concert will agree. One of the group's greatest ambitions was to found a singin' on the grounds in northeast Ohio. Spearheaded by the group's bass singer, Brad Ashburn, "The Gospel Trail" evolved and they are proud to host this annual sing each summer in Perry, Ohio. COF released their sixth CD, Jubilee, in August 2010. It features a collection of favorite southern gospel songs and hymns. In addition to Jubilee, their previous CD's, Amen! (October 2005), Straight & Narrow Road (January 2008), and Christmas with the Circle of Friends (November 2008) are all available at their concerts or through the online store.
