Originally in the mid-1980s, Claude Barlier conducted research in Nancy on the Actarus® machining monitoring process and on the Additive Manufacturing process (rapid prototyping, 3D printing) Stratoconception®, on which he filed the first patents. In November 1991, in order to develop his patented research, Claude Barlier created CIRTES in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. The project gets the label and the support of the European program STRIDE, led by ANVAR. the CIRTES CIRTES history is today: Contract Research Company (SRC) Approved under the Research Tax Credit (CIR) Technological Resource Center (CRT) Founding member of the VirtuReaL division Founding member of PRETT Lorraine Founding member of the Institut Carnot ICELL Founding member of the GIP InSIC with the Ecole des Mines de Nancy and the Institut Mines Télécom Associate founder member of the Innovation Platform SAS INORI CIRTES (SA) is a contract research company (SRC) which has innovation R & D through three major patented processes: - Additive Manufacturing by Stratoconception®, - Additive Manufacturing for Pack&Strat® 3D packaging, - Monitoring of machining by the Actarus® system. The company has two establishments: the head office, in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, and an establishment in Carmaux, in the South-West.
