Citadel Theatre is a professional, equity, not-for-profit theatre based in Lake Forest, Illinois, one hour north of Chicago. Our many classes for children provide a wonderful learning experience, rich with theatre games, improvisation, voice development, character work, scene study and movement. Taught by a staff of teachers who are both working theatre professionals and experienced educators, students gain confidence and communication skills, learning to integrate creativity with teamwork.The Academy at Citadel Theatre in collaboration with Lake Forest Dance Academy offers students the opportunity to audition for our Triple Threat Performance Ensemble.
