Citizen Advocacy is a community-based agency dedicated to helping people with disabilities participate fully in community life and is one of only a few Ottawa agencies supporting people with a wide range of disabilities, including physical limitations, developmental delays, mental illness and disabilities related to age. Our goal is to encourage self-advocacy and self-reliance while recognizing the interdependence of everyone in our community. Our numerous programs and activities all offer an opportunity for people with disabilities to get out in the community, engage with others and participate in various fun social activities. Thanks to our programs and activities, people who live with disabilities have a reduction in their personal vulnerability and see an increase in their quality of life.
