The Citizen School grew out of the work developed by some schools in membership of Citizens UK – the national home of community organising.We work with a range of schools and trusts. We believe schools and trusts have a vital role to play in the transformation of their communities and of wider society. We equip school leaders through the practices of community organising and educational reflection. We also help them to use their resources more effectively for their mission. We undertake research to support our aims and share the lessons through publications, training and consultancy.
