Connect Detroit is a nonprofit in Detroit, Michigan established by foundations to build greater capacity for people to work together, and improve lives and communities. The organization convenes, facilitates, and incubates multi-sector collaborative projects and funding requests. Since its funding in 2001, the collaborative efforts managed and assisted by City Connect Detroit have attracted more than $140 million to metropolitan Detroit community initiatives, in support of a wide array of health and human service and community development projects. The agency is most widely known for creating and leading the Grow Detroit's Young Talent program, a summer jobs initiative that has trained and employed tens-of-thousands of youth in Detroit since 2009.
