Full service City located in central Reno County. South Hutchinson is the 2nd largest city in Reno county with a population of approximately 2,500 residents. City services include police, volunteer fire, public works, planning, code enforcement, economic development, streets, storm water systems and administration. The City also operates a public water and sewer utilities. The community is home to many nationally known businesses including Tyson Foods, Collins Bus Company, Morton Salt, Stutzman's Refuse Disposal, Mennonite Friendship Communities and American Packaging.
