Officially founded on May 30, 2013, Civic Education Teacher's Forum, as an unregistered network, was established much earlier, in 2011 within Applied Civic Education and Teacher Training (ACETT) program, financed by USAID. The program is carried out by PH-international in cooperation with Consulting and Training Center (CTC) and partner regional non-government organizations and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science.The program aims to improve the quality of civic education school curriculum and increase youth's involvement in the process of building up a democratic society. The major focus is made on civic education teachers professional development and training within the program.One of the main reasons to establish the Forum was to offer a range of additional services to teachers, promote professional development and create a work exchange experience environment.Every activity that we perform is strongly committed to the following principles:Democracy and participation;Transparency and cooperation;Support and equality;Professionalism and continuous development;Responsibility and conscientious;
