CivicTech Romania is a non-profit tech startup whose mission is to make public services digital by default by developing open Source solutions designed for a globally connected, digital society. The key innovation driver of our products and services is Open Source technology, fueled by Civic Engagement and Open Data. CivicTech Romania brings together a community of 600+ volunteering IT&C specialists who contribute to developing digital civic solutions together with public institutions and private companies. In short, in close partnership with public institutions we build civictech products for the direct benefit of society. Some of our current projects include an Open Data platform for County Use, a National centralized reporting dashboard for Emergency situations in Romania, Romania's Social Services Map, a mobile app for Romanians abroad and many more.
