ClaimRev is a cloud based medical claims clearinghouse; powered with SharpClaim processing. SharpClaim is a highly performant claim processing system. Because SharpClaim is a serverless architecture, it can process one to thousands claims immediately. This makes for near real time claim processing. The intelligent EDI parsers can parse many badly formed EDI files. This allows for claim rejections and less file or transaction level rejections.The rules engine, that SharpClaim provides; can make edits to nearly any part of the claim. However, large changes can be made with requesting an advanced custom edit, which is a code module that applies only to your practice.The ClaimRev portal includes a full featured claim editor. This editor allows for editing of any field on the claim. This editor helps in speeding up claim resubmissions. The claim can be fixed here instead of having to resubmit from the billing software.A workflow management tool is provided in the portal, this tool allows for custom workflows when working your claims. You can make your own statuses and move the claim through your own workflows passing the claims to various users in your organization. As far as reporting goes, ClaimRev offers downloadable File Acceptance (999), Claim Acceptance (277), and ERA - Electronic Remittance Advice (835). ERA's are always translated for viewing on the portal and linked to the claim.
