With a BA in Photographic Practice from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Ireland, Claire has been working in the Photographic industry across the world with 10 years' experience.Claire Weir is an Irish born Australian-based photographer with a special love for construction, urban landscapes, music, and the arts. She has worked with a number of high profile clients such as Samsung, World Photography Org, Channel 4 and toured internationally as a music photographer with various publications, productions and musicians.Currently based in Western Australia, commercially, Claire is involved in helping construction companies develop their visual identity, applying her photographic skills in various capacities with a detailed and varied construction portfolio.She is also an accomplished music photographer, with experience in film and television, contributing to various magazines and working at Irish and European music festivals. Enjoying the creative challenges posed in the domain of live photography, she also works independently with musicians and PR companies to develop identities and design album artwork.Claire has been shortlisted for numerous awards, including theFujifilm Student of the Year, the 3G Student Photographer 2007 and a nomination for the 2008 Nikon Academy's Photographic Student of the Year.
