Uniquely inspired by the spirit of a strong-willed, Southern woman, there is no limit to what one might find inside. Tucked between Cafe 1912 and Barksdales, on S. Cooper, Clara Bell's offers furnishings, lamps, accessories and other items for true Southern people. You might find on old screen door, antique window, piece of original art or even an old church pew when you venture inside for a peek. Most of the store's inventory comes from places like Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and even Alabama. And don't be surprised if the owner offers you a cucumber sandwich, a glass of sweet tea or a cookie. Clara Bell's is a place to find Southern finds but it is also a place that reminds us of the good, old days where people were friendly and Southern hospitality ruled the day.
