CLAW started life back in 2015 when we discovered that, as a country, Britain export approximately 80% of its crab to the rest of Europe and even Asia.We believe that crab and other British seafood is undervalued and we want more people to realise that it is fresh, healthy, high in protein and most importantly delicious!Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We aim to source as much produce from the UK as possible and try to keep our menu up to date with the seasons.Taking out the middle men, we deal directly with sustainable fishermen to ensure that we receive the best produce. Our crab and lobster comes from Favis in Salcombe, trout from the chalk streams in Hampshire, oysters from Colchester and all our meat from H.G. Walter.Over the last two years we've traded at markets throughout London, festivals across the UK and ran pop-ups at various restaurants and bars.
