Clay and Glaze is a studio pottery initiative brought to you by a mother- daughter duo from the quaint town of Pondicherry. We contemporize and curate functional pottery, made by extremely talented village potters in Pondicherry from earthy and sustainable materials - Clay and Glaze. The clay is locally sourced and blended into a secret formula consisting of 5-6 different kinds if clay, wheel thrown or hand moulded into beautiful shapes, bisque fired and then glazed using different techniques and food-grade glazes that add to the beauty, functionality and lustre of the products and baked at 1300 degree Celsius to create a magical piece that can transform your ambience. All the products are food-grade, zinc free and lead free alongside being microwave friendly and dishwasher friendly.
