Years after they co-founded a homeless outreach organization in high school, ClearPath's co-founders came together to address the growing youth homelessness in NYC and to help other young people in their community, and across the United States. ClearPath is a non-profit organization (awaiting final application approval) that provides teenagers phasing out of the foster care system and homeless youth with direct streamlined access to a free directory with a plethora of programs that are designed to elevate them out of potential homelessness.These programs include: finding shelters and temporary housing, resources for mental wellness and outlets to foster creativity, and potential upward mobility opportunities via a well-organized directory custom-tailored to their location, age, and interests. The ClearPath team is able to tap into a well-rounded community of partnerships, which, as a collective, help those within the homeless youth community and assist nonprofits to work more efficiently in achieving their goals. This saves young people time and saves the agencies and nonprofits vouching for them money by curating reliable resources into one free platform.We're currently finishing up our website, cranking out content to raise awareness, and working with our engineers to launch a free directory to help young people in NYC. We're on track to do the same for more cities in 2021!
