We offer place-based arts and culture programs focusing on multicultural community-building, and engaging visitors in learning more about African-American history and the peoples and cultures of the African diaspora. Our programs include visual and performing arts, culinary arts, and traditional arts for on-Farm visitors and for our extended community in schools and other locations around Vermont. We also provide arts-integrated programs in K-12 education and public health. We provide professional development, networking, advocacy and paid opportunities to a growing network of Vermont's Black/African-American artists and other artists of African descent or of the African diaspora residing in Vermont. Our work also includes preserving a rare African-American owned historic farm and forest through stewardship, sustainable agriculture and forestry.
