The Clemson Industrial Assessment Center is a Department of Energy funded program that provides free energy assessments for small and medium sized manufacturing companies throughout the state of South Carolina. Clemson University is one of 28 universities across the nation with an industrial assessment center. We consist of Clemson engineering students and faculty from various engineering disciplines. We travel across the state to manufacturing companies and assess major energy consuming equipment such as boilers, HVAC, and chiller units to recommend energy saving techniques that not only lower the company's energy usage, but also save companies money.
