Spearheaded by Josh Paney (cinematographer/producer) and Simon Mounsey (writer/producer/director), Clerestory Productions' goal is to create narrative films, music videos, commercials and corporate videos that not only are entertaining but are creative and insightful. Clerestory is an architectural term that is defined as the upper part of a wall that contains a row of windows to allow light into the building, thus illuminating the inside. Like the clerestory definition, our films will be about characters trying to create a positive in their lives out of a dark or dire situation. We will deliver insight through social commentary, relatable situations and impactful relationships. Furthermore, our themes will be clear to our audience, whether it is a message we want to convey or just a good story that needs to be told. In turn, we will tell it precisely and effectively through the craft of filmmaking.
