The CLEW snowboarding bindings fuse strap-on with step-in system. The binding consists of two separate parts: base and boot part. The base is easily and securely fastened on any snowboard while the boot part gets strapped onto any soft boot. And this is how it works in detail: Before the first run, the binding gets adjusted only once like a common strap-in binding. By pulling the handle at the highback, you automatically unlock boot part and base. And to step in back? Well, just step in. Fast and easy.The founders of CLEW are Johannes Weckerle, Jakob Schneider and Matthias Albrecht – all three of them are passionate snowboarders. The friends have developed the patented binding, so that they do no longer waste a second on strapping on the snowboard, and thus to have more time for snowboarding. On a winter day, the idea was born. Just two years later, on October 15, 2019, CLEW presented its binding in the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" on VOX.
