Clicks for a Cause offers professional fundraising portraiture to individuals, schools, daycare centers, local sports team, non-profit groups and clubs throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Fundraising through Photography works! Families really value the fact they get a professional portrait for a minimum of $25.00 while also supporting their child and community. 100% of the Session Fee profits go straight to your school, team, club or organization and there's additional incentives when 20 or more families take part. We supply everything you need (at no cost to you).In 2012, our Family was trying to find a unique way to raise money for our Heaven's Miracle Great Strides Team in memory of my sister, April who lost her life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis in 2010. As carriers of the terminal genetic disorder we knew we needed to give back all we could to support the CF Foundation for future generations like our son. I came across an article on a philanthropy blog that said simply "use what you know." Well, we know photography so we brainstormed how we could raise money with a camera so Clicks for CF was born. Since my wife had owned her own Portrait Studio we already had a professional light system the next step was to work with a family friend to get a local church to donate the space and everything else fell into place. In 2013, We had a dear friend fundraising for her Relay for Life team so we suggested to create a Clicks for Cure Event then another family friend hosting a benefit for a sweet little boy so we created another Clicks event. My wife was unexpectedly laid off from the job she loved after seven years due to a corporate restructure but we were not going to let that stop her passion for photography. We decided now was the chance to expand and offer photography to other non-profit organizations, clubs, and teams to give them a unique way to raise money for great causes - Clicks for a Cause!
