In this century, our quality of life has greatly improved, businesses are thriving, people are able to fly around the world and technology has given us more ways to interact than was ever thought possible. But whilst our economy has been thriving, ecosystems are dying, bio-diversity is decreasing, forests are shrinking and global temperatures are increasing at rates that humanity has never seen before. However it is not too late, we envision a future where humanity will be climate positive. In order to achieve this goal Climatched focuses on the reduction of the atmospheric concentration of the most dangerous and prevalent greenhouse gas; Carbon Dioxide (CO2). CO2 absorbs and emits infrared radiation from the sun and contributes to warming the surface of the earth. Luckily nature has provided us with a carbon-capturing solution, namely: trees. This is the main reason why Climatched, together with its partners, aims to combat deforestation and protect (tropical) rainforests.
