CLIMB is a touring, educational theatre that brings our own original plays and classes directly to schools (and other agencies) across the Upper Midwest. Our programs are well researched and have high artistic and educational quality. Our most popular topics include: • Bullying Prevention • Empathy • Acceptance of Differences • Respect • Cliques and Exclusion • Self-Control • Cyberbullying •Financial Literacy CLIMB's work is effective education. Student surveys indicate that young people learn and change their thinking because of us. Many even say they will change their behavior because of our short, impactful programs! We are the 2009 winner of the American Association of Theaters in Education's prestigious Sara Spencer Artistic Achievement Award. AATE is a national association that exists "to promote standards of excellence in theatre and theatre education." Only one other Minnesota theatre has ever received the Sara Spencer Award. In our 2013 fiscal year, CLIMB reached 162,872 people from 410 schools and organizations in MN, WI, IA, IL, ND, and SD.
